This has been our first month selling new comic books at the store. Because Diamond Comics requires orders 2 months in advance, when we jumped on board to sell comics, that meant this first month or so has been mostly re-orders and back-orders.
Thanks everyone for your patience while waiting for your new comic titles to arrive! Some of the issues everyone has been waiting for were back-ordered for us because we weren't in business in Feb/Mar/Apr when the initial orders were submitted. And of course, that meant that our orders for the same issue were at the back of the line. And it also meant that sometimes we received later issues of a series before the earlier issues. Re-prints are wonderful things, however.....
I am happy to finally announce that the orders FINALLY appear to be catching up! On Wednesday we will be receiving a large order of new comic books.....Batman #700 will be back in stock, Deadpool Wade Wilson's War #1, and a bunch of other issues that were on back-order will be back in stock!
Again, thanks so much for your patience for these first few weeks!! By July we will be on finally be a regular ordering cycle!
If there are any issues, trades, or books that you missed and want to order, just come in and see me! We definitely do special orders!!!
And if there are certain comics you definitely want to read each month, please come in and fill out a pull-list request. Then you can be assured that the comic will be in stock for you!
