Saturday at 6pm We are holding a Call of Cthulhu LCG Sealed Tournament.
The Tournament is $15. Players don't have to have any cards of their own to play, each will choose a Monster Faction and a Human Faction (Including the Order of the Silver Twilight) from the Starter sets.
Prizes include Full art Cards, Unique Card Box, Acrylic damage tokens, Cthulhu Domain Statues, and other counters.
Will you save the earth or succumb to the Call of Cthulhu???

Ok.  Collecting a few team base rulings here from HCRealms.

1: If you have 3 members on the team base, you cannot use "Solo Adventure" to go below 3 members on the team base.  So far, the Outlaws are the sole exception to this, given their trait allowing them to have only 2 members attached.  Otherwise, the point total of people off the base can't exceed the total paid for the base itself (i.e. no pulling off 301 points of dudes on a 300 point base).

2: No using "Working Together" to trigger another subset of "Working Together" via its free action granted power action.

3: No reusing an effect for various free actions by Working Together.  The example given was Psychic Blast; you can't Running Shot with Psychic Blast as your free power action (comboed with a free ranged combat action) and THEN use Psychic Blast again as your free ranged combat action from Working Together.  You can make all the basic, "vanilla" attacks you want, though.

Otherwise, it's all pretty well spelled out on the card.  Read it very carefully.

We used to do a thin called silverage at my house. Its like golden age but you cant play stuff made before figures had cards i.e. justice league/avengers and thats all game elements so objects feats figures and bfcs that were printed or reprinted after those sets. Its pretty fun overall.

Attack of the Average Heroes!

400 points.

All characters must either be Rookies (yellow) or Experienced (blue). No characters may be played at Veteran (red) level.

By extension, this shuts out most Alter Egos (orange; see note below), Primes (green), and most Uniques (silver or gold; see note below).

Resources, Feats, BFCs, Special Objects, etc. are ok, of course.

= = = = = =

I see that the team bases are all Uniques. . . .

ADDENDUM!

If a character has the different colored starting lines, such as the team bases that are shown as Unique on their cards but have vet/exp/rookie lines, you may run them at the appropriate starting lines of experienced or rookie, but not vet, for this event.  This also goes for any other characters besides team bases that fit this same criterion, like a couple of pieces that can Alter Ego but have other varied starting lines.

This is yanked from HCRealms user's Origamiman's post "The Original 'Golden Rule' of HeroClix."  I thought it spoke volumes about good sportmanship and fellowship in playing Clix.

The original "Golden Rule" of Heroclix
I wrote this in another thread, but I thought I'd share my profound (self-proclaimed) wisdom with a larger audience, so here it goes...

1. There are many "levels" of gamer. Be the one that makes you happy and allow others to make the same choice.
2. One can get as much enjoyment out of the game by being a "power gamer" as being a casual player. laissez faire
3. The game's most important and often overlooked element is that other player, sitting across from you. Don't play in a vacuum – know that how you play has a direct impact on the fun factor for the other player(s).
4. It should matter to you if other people have fun playing against you.
5. It should matter to you if other people have fun playing against you!!
6. Don't draw conclusions on a piece because of random occurrences. "Figure X is such great piece! I rolled 3 critical hits with it last night!" Seriously, stop. You sound like an idiot.
7. It can be fun to obliterate someone, if you do it with class and a good attitude.
8. It can be fun to be obliterated by someone if they do it with class and a good attitude.
9. Bad match-ups, and bad dice are an unavoidable hazard of Heroclix. Deal with it. Be a good sport. Everybody plays the fool sometimes.
10. Once you start making it necessary for your opponent to play a certain way, with or without certain figures, to fulfill your fun factor for a game, then you've missed the point of playing a game with other people. It's the "other people" that make the game possible.

My grandma used to say it best...

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
