Red Planet Games and Hobbies is proud to offer you this selection of collectible card games, all of which have a substantial following among our regular gamers! A brief description of each game, as well as some links to learn more about it, appear below.

Magic: The Gathering

Begun in 1993, Magic: The Gathering is a fantasy-based collectible card game, with five basic "colors" or philosophies of winning, several thousand cards to choose from, and a very active tournament scene. It has been called "the chess of card games," requiring thoughtful strategy and deck construction. Each Magic deck has a minimum limit of 60 cards, though there is no maximum limit. You can also build a deck of all one color, two colors, or even four or five!

Our shop supports both casual play and tournament play, and is a sanctioned shop for DCI tournaments as well as being selected as a Premier Magic location. We hold FNM games, as well as Tuesday evening gatherings, beginning at 6:00 pm. We offer Magic: The Gathering booster packs and a wide variety of singles. If you're interested in picking up the game, feel free to drop by and learn from one of our friendly gamers! World of Warcraft TCG

Become your online character in World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. Pick the race and class of your hero. Select all your gear and recruit allies from all across the realm. Collect abilities to Fireball, Sinister Strike, or Intercept your opponents. Play with your friends at home or compete in tournaments across the globe. It’s Warcraft in your pocket. Be your character wherever you go!

Our shop has WoW TCG tournaments on alternating Thursday nights beginning at 7:00 PM. We also sell booster packs, sleeves, and deck boxes for your WoW decks.

The Spoils

Created by a Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour player, The Spoils is a hilarious parody of Magic, right down to the five basic philosophies of winning. Generally, every character is a bumbling villain, and each faction of villains wins in its own silly way. The cards are covered with witty puns, pop culture references, and funny art, perfect for older players who are familiar with Magic: The Gathering and its rules. Magic's "mana" system becomes "resources" in this game, with each resource being matched to its faction--the Bankers have the resource of Greed, Gearsmiths have Elitism, Warlords have Rage, Arcanists have Obsession, and Rogues have Deception.

RPG&H holds Spoils tournaments on alternating Thursdays at 7:00 pm, and offers competition packs (featuring all five factions and resources) as well as individual booster packs and starter decks. We'd love to see you there! We also have card sleeves and deck boxes available for your Spoils decks--we even have a pattern of sleeves that exactly matches the backs of the Spoils cards! Star Trek CCG

Welcome to a universe with endless possibilities. The Star Trek Customizable Card Game universe contains over 1600 common, uncommon, rare, ultra-rare, and premium cards, representing missions, personnel, ships, and more from the Star Trek universe. A game requires two players, each with a deck customized from the cards in his or her collection. Your personnel will report for duty, fly ships to mission locations, and overcome obstacles called "dilemmas" before they can complete their mission and score points. They may engage in ship-to-ship battles or personal combat. Cards representing equipment, rare artifacts, and events from the Star Trek universe will aid or hamper their progress. Put together your own customized ship and personnel and see how you stack up in the Star Trek universe!

Red Planet Games and Hobbies does host Star Trek CCG tournaments, usually on Saturdays at 10:00 AM. We also have deck boxes and sleeves for protecting and storing your cards.

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Based on the giant hit Japanese manga and anime series of the same name, the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game actually traces its gaming roots back to Magic: The Gathering; the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! used Magic: The Gathering as the basis for the mechanics of the game his fictional characters played. It has since expanded and become quite a game of its own, drawing a large following especially for younger kids and teens. With several different elements off of which to base one's deck, there are many ways to build one that wins!

Red Planet Games and Hobbies features a weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament on Thursdays before 7:00 pm. We also carry some specially-sized card sleeves made to fit the smaller Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, as well as smaller deck boxes. Click here to see the selection of sleeves and boxes.
